- I'm an artist living in the middle of the boonies but usually enjoying every minute of it. Living in the country means no cable or super fast internet connection and certainly no brick and mortar art stores within easy reach. But it also means that we have an abundance of wildlife right outside our door as well as beautiful landscape vistas just about anywhere we look. That's well worth the lack of modern conveniences to me.

No, not yet but I am working on it (slowly)!
Hi Jan, hope you are doing well! I am becoming more and more intrigued and interested in learning oils. Looking at your lovely painting reaffirms this desire. The question remains in my mind if I should buy water soluble or tradition oils. I am also a bit scared...not sure why, but maybe it's trying to learn something new and not really knowing where to start. ;-)

Thanks Christine and Teresa. I did end up finishing this but it's different than this last post. Still not real happy with it so won't post it again.
