Both are regulation ATC/ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) size at 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches and both were painted in watercolor or watercolor and gouache. Both of the painting photo references came from MorgueFile.com. I hope the recipients like what they get as I had a lot of fun painting these.

ATC Trade
We're doing an Artist's Trading Card trade at an art forum I belong to (Art Class Friends - let me know if you would like an invitation to join) and these are the two cards I painted for the trade.

I love the looseness and simplicity of these Jan. And its really great to hear you say you've had fun doing these. I think sometimes we get too bogged down in detail and lose sight of the fact that this is FUN and what we love to do :-)
Looking good, Jan! I love the freedom that ATC's give.... lots of room to experiment!
Thank you both. I do like the ATC/ACEO format precisely because it's easy to experiment with them without so much pressure.
Lovely painting Jan. It's so good to see you back blogging.
